Not as Advertised
This is a generic and not the brand name GermGuardian filter. Though it will fit the intended unit, it does not, however, have the 2nd charcoal pre filter as advertised "2 pre filters 1 HEPA filter". My returning the item for a refund was prompt and easy.
not OEM
This is a 'replacement filter', "designed to fit" the Ac5000. It is NOT a germguardian filter, and is missing the seals at the top and bottom of the OEM filter. If this matters to you, this is not the filter you are looking for.
not as pictured
The filter fits however its a cheap knockoff compared to the actual one that comes with the unit. the entire filter is cardboard and should cost about $15 not $40 I could get it custom made from filter shops for less will not buy from this again. Will either order direct from manufacturer or like I said build it online at a filter shop for much cheaper.
